Day 1 - Inversion Method Challenge Update... :-)

Heyah!

This is a really quick little post, just updating you guys on Day 1 of my Inversion Method Challenge! :-)

All in all, it went pretty smoothly...

  1. I poured about 3 tablespoons of Grapeseed Oil into a plastic container and heated it in the microwave. Next time I think I'll do it on the stove though. I generally don't like the thought of using microwaved oil too often, that's just me.

  2. I then massaged my scalp with the warm (NOT HOT) Grapeseed Oil for about 3 1/2 minutes. Soooo relaxing.... Definitely my favorite step :-D

  3. I then put my hair in a large French Braid with a small bun, ends neatly tucked away.

  4. Covered with a plastic cap (GHE method) and then tied a scarf over it.
  5. I then proceeded to my Inversion! I figured this should be relaxing, so I had some music playing on my iPad. Two songs did the trick! I basically had "Monster" by Eminem and Rihanna play twice. I LOVE that song :-D.
Yeah, I need to get a cuter scarf, *face-palm*
  6. I then sat up verrrrrry slowly. I know this from regular stretching, whenever you've had your head down for a good while, you must come up slowly taking deep breaths to avoid any dizziness. It worked because I felt fine by the time I sat up straight.
  7. Off to bed I go for some well deserved sleep! :-D
Awesome sauce! Day 1 down, 6 more to go, I'm going all in guys!!!
Feel free to join me, I'd love the company :-)

Xoxo,
Rachie :-)

  1. I hope you see good results. I've done the inversion method before, but kind of half-assed it, so I'm not sure if it REALLY works or not. I'm gonna give it another go next week.
