Fitness Friday: I Challenge Myself to Get Fit!

Hey There!

This is a quick check in post to let you guys know that I have decided to challenge myself to exercise daily.

Exercise is important for so many aspects of our health, that it SHOULD be in everyone's daily routine,
BENEFITS of Exercise include:

  1. Prevents Weight Gain & helps to Maintain Weight Loss
  2. Helps to keep Chronic Medical Illnesses at Bay, such as Diabetes, high Blood Pressure and High Cholesterol
  3. Improves Mood - That's for sure! When I'm not exercising enough I feel more lethargic and grumpy than normal.
  4. Boost Energy! - Lord knows I need all I can get these days!
  5. It can be FUN! When you get into the routine of it, its actually a lot nicer than you think, More FUN less CHORE :-)

and hair-wise :-) : I notice that I tend to have better hair growth when I am exercising daily and eating well...
Hehehe its a nice plus, I not goin' Lie, LOL! *winks*

All these benefits and YET,

I have really slacked off in this department of late,
with sporadic workouts here and there...
But this doesn't work for me long term, I like to have a plan, a routine,
and after a "comments convo" with KLP from SavingOurStrands,
I was motivated to get off my hindquarters and get started!!!

#FITNESSFRIDAY here I come!

Game Plan:
(already in progress #gorachelgorachel! #yardiereference :-)
  • Jogging in the mornings - Check! so far, this is of course once its not raining, the weather here in Tortola can be so unpredictable! Lol!
  • Mid-day Jump rope for 5 minutes - Machel Montano Song on blast!
  • Attempt Spin class in the evenings - Once my work schedule allows
  • For those freakish days when all goes wrong and NONE of the above was accomplished:
Of course I have to make sure that I try to eat properly, hydrate and rest,
But: one challenge at a time, I don't want to get too overwhelmed.

So I'll check in with you guys on #fitnessfriday this week to let you know how it went

Feel free to join me! I'd love the company!

Xoxo,
Rachie :-)

    1. Hahaha thanks for pinning! Ye man it's definitely doable, I just have to make sure I do it, until one day it becomes a habit. Thanks so much for following along, I would really like the company, because it encourages us all to stick to the plan that much more if we know we have to check in with others. Happy Sunday Girlie, and thanks again for stopping by :-)
