Thanks to all the ladies from #thewashdayexperience for giving me the motivation to give this a try.
Thanks to all the ladies from #thewashdayexperience for giving me the motivation to give this a try.
1. I made small sections with my fingers,
2. Detangled the section with my Denman Brush,
3. I then wet the section with water from my fingertips (dipped into a cup of water)
4. I then sprayed the section with Aphogee Keratin and Green Tea Reconstructor
6. Then the flexirod was put in!
THIS WAS THE TRICKY PART, it took quite a bit of trial and error, Aching back and shoulders, and frustration.
It took me 2 and a half hours in total to put them all in!
whew!
7. I then sat under the drier for 45 mins
8. Then put on a scarf and went to bed, FINALLY!
9. This morning, take down and separation of each curl, then a headband to complete the look, all done! :-)
Oh this is gorgeous! Time for me to take my flexi rods out of storage lol

Heya KLP! Thanks girlie, and YESS I can't believe I forgot to mention the sizes: Funny enough, only one pack says its size which is 1/2" (red) the yellow is slightly smaller than the red, and the green looks like 1/4" to me. I used about 30 in total. I should probably take a picture of them and post it. Thanks so much for the kind words! and thanks for having me :-D
DeleteCute! I've got to try those smaller flexirods, they give a great curl
